We work closely with two exceptional local bakeries who deliver fresh to us daily. Both are family businesses with deep roots in their craft, and both produce baked goods that are genuinely worth seeking out. We're proud to have them on our shelves.

The Green Door is a family run bakery and patisserie based in Yoxall, right here in Staffordshire. Passionate about quality and craftsmanship, their team bakes everything in house using the finest ingredients, from artisan breads and beautiful pastries to cakes and internationally inspired treats. Local, thoughtful and made with real care. Exactly the kind of supplier we love to work with.

Bakewell Bakery is a traditional, independent bakery known for freshly baked breads, pastries, cakes and classic treats made with care and quality ingredients. With a focus on flavour, freshness and time-honoured baking, it offers a welcoming taste of Derbyshire and the Peak District.

Some things are worth going the extra mile for. Luke Evans Bakery in Alfreton, thirty miles from Denstone Hall, has been baking bread for family tables since 1804. They deliver to us fresh throughout the week, so our shelves are stocked with their rolls, baguettes and loaves, crusty on the outside, soft within, and ready to take home for the table.

Whole cakes, brownies, cookies and scones are available to purchase from the farm shop daily.
Homemade desserts
Our bakers make sponge cakes, tray bakes and desserts by hand in our kitchen, for the farm shop counter and the café. Generous, seasonal and made in small batches. Just the thing with a pot of tea, or to finish off lunch properly.
